Il Golf Club Tirrenia

Tirrenia Golf Club boasts one of the oldest, most enchanting golf courses in Tuscany

Designed by the English architect Ken Cotton and expertly crafted in 1967, the course is immersed in the magnificent greenery of a centuries-old pinewood and lush Mediterranean scrubland. Today it is part of the San Rossore Natural Park. Recognized in previous years by Golf Digest magazine as the best 9-hole course in Italy, it offers players a harmonious and stimulating experience - a garden where relaxation and sport have found their sanctuary

At the Tirrenia Golf Club, each hole challenges players to skilfully manoeuvre the ball, both from the tee, navigating narrow starts between trees, and in shots to the small greens. Missing these greens means tough shots from the woods for less experienced players. The course record, set by pro Joe Messana, stands at 69 strokes, just 3 strokes below par.

The Club welcomes visitors year-round, benefiting from the consistently mild climate of the Tirrenian sregion. The unique layout of the course shields it from cold winds in winter while offering a pleasantly cool and breezy experience in summer.

Our classic Club House offers essential comforts and amenities including a bar, restaurant, reading and game room, and changing facilities. With its inviting atmosphere, the Club encourages camaraderie among members and extends a warm welcome to guests.

Since 2005, the Club has been [BS1] under the ownership of Geom. Romolo Berti.
